A full electrophysiology facility — not a single test
SQHC brings ABR/BERA, ASSR, OAE, ECochG and cortical auditory evoked-potential testing into one coordinated pathway. This helps the audiologist assess the cochlea, auditory nerve, brainstem and higher auditory response when behavioural testing is not enough or cannot be completed reliably.
Adult diagnostic tests
- Pure-tone audiometry — your hearing thresholds across pitches.
- Speech audiometry — how clearly you understand words.
- Tympanometry — middle-ear and eardrum function.
- OAE — inner-ear (cochlear) response.
Electrophysiology (nerve & brain-response) tests
- ABR / BERA — auditory brainstem response (also for objective threshold estimation).
- ASSR — auditory steady-state response for frequency-specific thresholds.
- OAE — otoacoustic emissions (inner-ear / cochlear function).
- ECochG (electrocochleography) and cortical (CAEP) testing where indicated.
